Pinchos Bensusan
I have always had a fascination for maps, draughtsmanship and painting from my youth, using my imagination to “create” topographic maps and 2D terrain images, and with the help of the Almighty, I have been most fortunate to have worked as a Cartographer and C.A.D. Operator with Mapping / Land Surveying / Drawing Office experience of over 30 years.
I also painted as a youth and spent a year in London's Camberwell School of Art and Craft. I have combined the two disciplines of cartography/topography and oil painting. The work encompasses both Landscapes and portraiture.
My work is figurative; strong in form and space, and natural colour.
